We compare the criteria of the current VDA 19.1 (2015) with those of the 2025 revision (yellow band). The new VDA 19.1 places particular emphasis on the evaluation of cleanliness values and measures to be taken in the event of non-compliance with the blank value, especially for very clean components. We demonstrate practical measures for very clean components.
